The correct answer is - biased.
When a scientist is sticking to its position and way of thought, even though there's a presented proof that confirms that his/hers position is wrong, and the facts are in a totally different direction, it means that the scientist is biased. This, weirdly enough, is a very common thing in the scientific circles, and very often it is connected with pride, which is definitely not how scientist should act.
