Stroke is one of the most common diseases that cause great mortality rates in several societies. The onset of such disease is often unnoticeable unless a person is trained or well-educated enough to identify the different signs and symptoms that disease will portray. Among the list of symptoms that the EMS may expedite on the on-set of a stroke are: 1) face drooping; 2) slurred speech; 3) headache; 4) numbness on the face; 5) weakness or paralysis on one side of the body.
