The story starts off with the Exposition which tells you the basic information that you need to know about what is going on in the story (setting, characters, introduction to plot) which then leads into the Rising Action(s), which start leading you towards the Climax (turning point in the story), which then leads you into the Falling Action(s), which is what happens after the Climax in the story which then finally leads you into the Resolution, which is where the after effects of the Climax is really told (They lived happily ever after, ie.)
