On a firewall that has 32 ethernet ports and is configured with a dynamic ip and port (dipp) nat oversubscription rate of 2x, what is the maximum number of concurrent sessions supported by each available ip address
I am definitely sure that 32 is the maximum number of concurrent sessions supported by each available IP address. DIPP or Dynamic IP and Port NAT allows you to use various IP addresses in concurrent sessions. The number of concurrent sessions depends on the oversubscribtion rate that scales the original size of the address to 2-8 times the size.
