hello!
[tex]====================================[/tex]
the equation of the given line is written in slope-intercept form (y=mx+b) where m stands for the slope and b stands for the y-intercept.
in order to determine the slope & y-intercept of the given line, all we should do is look at the equation; in slope-intercept form, the slope is the coefficient of x (the number before x)
That's a lot easier, right?
hence, the slope of the line is 4.
now, the y-intercept (b) is the constant (a number without any variables next to it)
hence, the y-intercept is -1.
