Severe widespread muscular contractions, along with malignant hyperthermia, needs to be treated immediately with IV Dantrolene (Dantrium or Ryanodex).
Dantrolene works as a post-synaptic muscle relaxant by blocking receptors for ryanodine, thereby being called a "Ryanodine Receptor Antagonist" (RRA).
