To prove
By using the trignometric identity
[tex]sin\theta = \frac{Perpendicular}{Hypotenuse}[/tex]
As given in the diagram.
[tex]\theta = 50 ^{\circ}[/tex]
Perpendicular = x
Hypotenuse = 6
Put in the above identity
[tex]sin\ 50^{\circ} = \frac{x}{6}[/tex]
[tex]sin\ 50^{\circ} = 0.77\ (Approx)[/tex]
Put in the above
[tex]x = 6\times 0.77[/tex]
x = 4.6 cm (Approx)
Therefore Option (c) is correct .
