Hillary Clinton and her advocates during the 2008 presidential election sparked the birther movement which questioned the eligibiity of barack Obama to run as a president of the United States as he was rumored to be born in kenya. Of course, one of the qualifications of running as a president of a country is that he must live for a minimum number of years as true and bonafide citizen of a country, able to read and write and most importantly, he/she must be born in the state/country where he/she intends to run. This was a conspiracy trying to ambush Obama's potential stronghold on the position. 

In order to become a U.S. president, you must be born in the U.S.

For example, the TRUMP 2020 campaign is eligible since Trump was born in America
