The Splunk search command is used to search commands related to statistics and visualization tabs. There are three ways to create visualizations: selecting a field from the fields sidebar, using the pivot interface and lastly, the aforementioned, the Splunk search bar. Search commands are used in the programs to create charts, format them and also perform statistics in the computations. In order to produce statistics out of the search result, one should make avail of the stats command. The sum of the numeric values inputted in the database is determined using the Stats sum command.Stats count is used to determine the number of matches according to the criteria.
