while temperate rainforests are cool. Only a small percentage of the tropical forests are rainforests. To be a tropical rainforest, forested areas must: Lie between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn.
Both tropical forests and temperate forests have large concentrations of trees, are generally humid and have faithful soil. However, tropical forests are more diverse, have more rivers and different forms, while temperate forests are more homogeneous and lose their leaves during the winter. In addition, temperate forests are better adapted to a cold climate, while the rainforest needs a higher temperature above 20ºC.
Both forests are located in completely different climates, but are home to a great deal of life in them.
