In a research study, it is important to get a sample that is representative to the different parts of the population. IN this case, the sample space given is the population of Christians while the respondents of the research appear to be composed of Methodists church Christians only. This would employ error on the survey results as the answers/results are inclined to the beliefs and nature for Methodists, not by all Christians in general. The type of bias that appears in this scenario is called selection bias which is characterized by the inclusion of individuals that are more likely to be selected than others.
