The answer is groupthink. This happens when a group values coherence and harmony over accurate analysis and grave evaluation. It causes individual members of the group to unhesitatingly follow the word of the leader and it powerfully discourages any disagreement with the consensus. Groupthink includes individuals to dodge raising provocative issues or another solutions, and there is loss of individual creativity, uniqueness and independent thinking. Antecedent factors for example group cohesiveness, faulty group structure, and situational context play into the possibility of whether or not groupthink will influence the decision-making process.
