Formed by several high schoolers in 2012, the Kentucky
Student Voice Team has grown to about 100 students from
elementary school through college. The members do
meaningful work. They use a podcast, a blog, and other social
media to share students' personal stories. The team also
explores issues such as grading, teacher diversity, and school
safety. It is all done with the support of teachers, university
researchers, and other partners.
