Unbalanced translocations occurs, when inherited chromosome in a child is incomplete or the chromosome took some extra material or information from the parent chromosomes. You can also define an unbalanced translocation as an abnormality which is develop when non-homologous chromosomes have some rearranged parts.
Due to unbalanced translocation, human may be effected by these diseases like cancer, infertility and Down syndrome.
