the value in the hundredths place is the second 4 so 0.04

If u have 0.44 and ur looking for the hundredths right then u have to move the . Back from 0.44 t0 04.4 then that is tenth place and then move the . Again to 044. So this is the answer I think that's how my teacher teach it
