Marsha’s action is being demonstrated because of her belief of having an imaginary audience. An imaginary audience a state of which an individual has an imagination or belief of having to have an audience or people watching his or her actions and as well as listening to what he or she is doing or just plainly looking at her. It could be seen above that Marsha has exhibit this belief as she says that everybody is going to laugh at her because of the bruise on her cheeks when there is no particular proof of people having to laugh at her because she has a bruise on her cheek.
Answer:
her belief in an imaginary audience
Explanation:
Imaginary audience is a factor that occurs during the increase of self-centeredness of children and adolescents. It occurs when, unrealistically, adolescents consider that others pay as much attention to their appearance and conduct as they themselves.
An example of this can be seen in the question above, where Marsha noticing a stain on her cheek gives up going to school because she believes everyone will notice the stain and judge it for it.
