Several employees at GPS Marketers were having trouble knowing who they reported to and where their line of decision-making authority ended. This led to several miscommunications with clients over what services GPS Marketers could provide to them. To address this issue, the strategy team at GPS Marketers met to develop a working mission statement for employees to help them understand what the company and each of its teams of employees did.
