Let No of children be x
Therefore no of adults = 4x
No of adults who left = 132
No of children who left = 9
Adults left in mall = 4x-132
Children left in mall = x-9

Adults left in mall = Children left in mall(given)
Therefore,
4x-132=x-9
4x-x = 132-9
3x = 123
x=123/3
x =41
There were 41 children in the mall initially
