Beth learned in her science class that white blood cells in the human body capture harmful material by engulfing them. Then they digest them using enzymes, thus protecting the body from infection. Which eukaryote has a similar mode of nutrition?

The eurkaryotes which has a similar mode of nutriion is Amoeba.
Amoeba is a unicellular eukaryotes. It eats microscopic organisms. When it sights a food substance, it surrounds the food substance with its food vacuole and enclose it inside the food vacuole where the food particle will be digested. The nutrients in the food will move into the cell and amoeba will excrete the waste using contractile vacuole.
