To figure out the answer, you can multiply .15 x 40, then subtract the answer from 40!
When you need to figure out a percentage of something, you can always move the decimal point two spots to the left of the percentage to make it multipliable. (i.e. 15% = .15, 50% = .50, 65%= .65)
Step 1: .15 x 40=6.
Step 2: 40-6=34.
The answer is 34!
