When a group of cells that all have the same basic structure and function come together they form tissue.
This type of organization in your body is somewhere between the cellular level, and the level of organs. So, when similar cells combine, they create a tissue; when similar tissues combine, they create an organ; when similar organs combine, they create a system of organs, and in the end, your entire body.
