Objective: I can research an element to become an expert and make a product that informs my reader about the element I chose.
Step 1: Pick an element (https://ptable.com/ OR see links at end of instructions)
Step 2: Find answers using your resources to the following items and take notes here.
1. Name of the element- Kingsnakes are Immune to Venom
2. Symbol-rattlesnake, copperhead, and cottonmouth
3. Atomic Number-
4. Atomic Mass
5. Who discovered it? When was it discovered?
6. Number of protons, number of neutrons, number of electrons
7. Where it can be found/how made
8. Four physical descriptions: metal, non-metal, metalloid, color, texture, density, melting point, boiling point, physical state (Solid, Liquid, Gas) at room temperature
9. A list of common uses (minimum of three)
10. Two Interesting facts about your element; something you believe is unique and relatively unknown by the general population.
11. A picture of the element OR a picture related to one of the element's uses.
12. A picture of an atom of the element.
