If non native beetles began to kill most of the producers, there would be an increase in the number of non native beetles since they are getting more food supply but, there would be a decrease in the producers. The increase of non native beetles and decrease of producers would cause a decrease in biodiversity because there are also other animals that depend on producers. So, the producers would not be the only ones that will start to decrease; this also includes other species that may depend on them.
