Respuesta :

The Battle of Yorktown resulted in a British surrender by British Commander Charles Cornwallis. By surrending, the Continental Army, led by American General George Washington, won the Revolutionary War. Washington would not have won, however, had it not been for the French navy, who sent their ships to block Cornwallis' escape by sea. Washington blocked his escape by land, and so Cornwallis had no choice but to surrending.
