PLEASE HELP!!

Which functions have graphs that are steeper than the graph of f(x)=−3x^2 ?

Select all correct answers.

A.)
k(x)=3x^2

B.)
j(x)=2x^2

C.)
g(x)=−4x^2

D.)
h(x)=−2x^2

E.)
m(x)=4x^2

Respuesta :

Steepness in quadratic functions refers to how wide or narrow the graph is.

Positive/negative doesn't affect steepness in this situation so A would be out because it is essentially the same as the problem.

You would have to use graph transformations. When a number is front of the whole equation like how 3 is in front of x^2, it stretches the graph VERTICALLY making the graph MORE STEEP.

So which graphs has the largest coefficient (disregarding the negative signs)

It says graphs (with an s) so it would be C and E.

hope this helps C:
