The correct answer should be the Chinese Communist Revolution. The communists in China believed that all bad things in China came from it's lengthy imperial government that's been there for millennia. They believed that it made China backwards and they decided to abolish more or less everything that was in any way connected to social status or classes or to the former system of government.
