Distress is the type of stress is he likely to experience. It is a negative stress brought about by constant alterations in a routine (creates a feeling of discomfort). There are two types of distress (acute stress and chronic stress). And both can result in negative effects on someone's health. Distress has some characteristics like can be short/long-term; can lead to mental/physical problems; causes anxiety/concern (Mohammed). Example of negative personal stressor: Children's problems at school.
