A trait of general behavior allows the praying mantis to blend in with surrounding leaves. It camouflages perfectly with the environment, especially with the leaves, sticks, and flowers. It sways slightly and mimics the wind. It also stays still and moved if it is disturbed, and will catch its prey or just transfer from one spot to the other. Praying mantis can fly but mostly walks slowly to search for their prey.
