Respuesta :

in march of 1770 all of the townshend acts were repealed except for the tax on the tea.

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

One item left out of the repeal of the Townshend act was the taxation of tea.

The American colonists were so angered and upset with the British Crown for the imposing of the Townshend Acts of 1770. They were furious and had been protesting in many ways against taxation. So on April 12, 1770, the English government repealed most of the legislation included in the Act such as paper, paint, and glass, products that were imported from England. Protests had been so permanent and culminated with a bloody confrontation in New England known as the Boston Massacre of March 5, 1770.
