The third paragraph of Paine's "The Crisis" assures Americans that fighting for their cause is the right thing to do. He assures every man who supported the cause that God is with them all throughout. That's why they shouldn't be trembled and be shaken. He believes that the Almighty God will not leave them nor let them all die in the middle of a military destruction. Especially that they did every possible noble method just to prevent facing a vicious war. He further points out his belief that God will never give up the government of the world. And therefore, He will not let any devils win in ruling over the people that he loves.
