Cherokee
The Cherokee are a group of indigenous people from Southeastern Woodlands. The British took the Cherokees as allies and the Cherokee sought for their help during the Yamasee War. The two remained allies until the "French and Indian War" in North America because of suspicions of betrayals from both sides.
The war between the British and the Cherokee tribe was called "Anglo-Cherokee" war or sometimes "Cherokee Uprising" or "Cherokee Rebellion," with respect to the Anglo-European perspective.
