The group which makes up the largest minority population in New Zealand would be the Maoris. The Maoris are the indigenous Polynesian people of New Zealand and have a unique culture separate from the people of New Zealand who have European ancestry, including their own language, a rich mythology, distinctive crafts and performing arts.
