I believe Munch's The Scream painting did succeed in conveying internal feelings because the being shown in the painting is sort of abnormal and the color scheme is dark. Dark color schemes are commonly used to show an artists thoughts about something dark such as, sadness, insanity, etc. I think Munch created this painting to show the agony of the obliteration of human personality. As the being in the picture has no signs of a gender, and is depersonalized. It almost makes me question human integrity.
