Tammy can use a journal or log to track spending by manually entering each purchase in a predetermined category. Tammy can also look into her financial institution as they can offer the electronic version of a journal to help track purchases without the consumer having to remember to record purchases, Tammy would just have to use the same form of payment for each purchase to prevent missing a transaction.
