Many of Earth’s nonrenewable resources are very rare. Other nonrenewable resources, such as coal, are abundant but not easily replaced. What would happen if we used up all the coal on Earth?
If we burn all of the remaining fossil fuels on Earth, almost all of the ice in Antarctica will melt, potentially causing sea levels to rise by as much as 200 feet, which will b enough to drown and flood most of the major cities in the world.
