These are called radicals. Radicals are found on the far left of the political spectrum. This is a person who advocates a complete political or social reform who is a member of a political party that has these same aims.

The traditional political spectrum comprehends different political positions and places them symbolically: we can find the right wing, the central, and the left wing.

Each one of them has different principles and supports some values more than others. The one located far at the left is generally known as radicalism.

In this sense, the political radicalism proposes political principles focused on modifying social schemes from the foundations. In fact, the term "radicalism" comes from the Latin word "radix" which means root, precisely because this current attemps to modify structures in a very revolutionary way and right from the basics. Among other topics, it´s focused on the modification of moral, political, scientific and even religious matters.
