Farming is the cultivation of land and the rearing of livestock. It is an agricultural practice that deals with the planting of crops to get the maximum agricultural output over a period of time.
Crop Farming usually involves three stages:
- Pre Planting Operation e.g. Clearing of lands
- Planting Operation e.g. Planting of seeds
- Post Planting Operation e.g disease and pest control
So, as farming begins to spread, people began to move and settle in one place most especially urban centers, so that there will be some areas reserved majorly for farming.
