Read the following lines from Sunjata. God is with the just. Everybody does what he wants, But God makes the final decision. The chick destined to be a rooster will eventually crow, No matter what is laid in its path. It will overcome. Which word best describes the tone created by these lines?

Respuesta :

I would say the tone of these lines is encouraging.
These lines tell us that we will manage to overcome anything laid in front of us on our life path, no matter how difficult it may be. It is quite encouraging to think that because it makes us feel good and happy about our lives and think we can do anything.

The answer is uplifting.

When answering questions like these, you have to find which answer is most correct. While encouraging could be a correct answer, it is not the most correct answer.

"God is with the just", "The chick....will eventually crow", "No matter what...It will overcome". The author is lifting up the readers so that they believe in themselves. He is encouraging them, but his tone is uplifting. The author's attitude toward the writing is uplifting, it is how he feels about the subject.

Hope this helps! :)

P.S. I know where this question is from, and I got it wrong when I said encouraging. THE ANSWER IS UPLIFTING ;)
