Soil aeration is caused by CHANGE IN PRESSURE ASSOCIATED WITH WEATHER EVENTS.
Soil aeration is the process of rapid exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide between the pores in the soil and the atmosphere. The movement of air through the soil is dependent on the change in pressure associated with weather events; the change in pressure enable the soil to release gas to the outside when low pressure system pass over and to take in air when high pressure returns.
