The land of which we refer to as occupied by Arabs was significantly different and allocated much differently than we are used to today. Because of this, there was not one particular set of religion or religious beliefs practiced prior to the revelations of Muhammed. Studies show that the biggest religious base for pre-Islam Arabia consisted of polytheism, Christianity, Judaism, and Iranian religions.
