The choroid layer.It is part of the uvea,and is located between the sclera and the retina. The choroid receives its blood supply from the central retinal artery and provides the outer retinal layers with majority of their blood supply. It is divided into 4 layers;
.)Haller's layer - outermost layer of the choroid which contains larger diameter blood vessels
.)Sattler's layer - contains the medium diameter blood vessels
.)Choriocapillaris - contains the capillaries
.)Bruch's membrane- innermost layer of the choroid.
