The bacteria naturally infects andvare found in the urine, feces, and milk of the infected animals such as goats, sheep and cattle. People can get infected by inhaling dust that has been contaminated by the infected animal feces, urine, milk, and birth products. Some people don't develop symptoms; however those that do usually develop flu-like symptoms which are fever, chills, fatigue, and muscle pain.
