you could do it 2 ways
1. use the oint slope form you are given
2. convert to slope intercept
1. if a line has a slope of m and passes through the point [tex](x_1,y_1)[/tex]
then the equation is [tex]y-y_1=m(x-x_1)[/tex]
so given [tex]y-5=4(x-2)[/tex] the line has a slope of 4 and passes through (2,5)
so graph the oint (2,5) (go 2 right and 5 up from the origin) and then use the slope of 4, so 4/1, go up 4 units and 1 unit to the right to arrive at (3,9)
draw a line thru those 2 points
2. convert to y=mx+b form
solve for y
y-5=4(x-2)
y-5=4x-8
y=4x-3
y intercept is -3 so put a point on the y axis at -3 or 3 units below the origin
then use slope of 4, go up 4 units and 1 to the right to arrive at (1,1)
connect those 2 points with a line and you're done
