Respuesta :
-7 over -5 would be the slope because you subtract Y2 from Y1 and X2 from X1
In order to find the slope of the line, use the equation: [tex]\frac{y^2-y^1}{x^2-x^2} [/tex]
To find the slope, plug in the y values on the top and the x values on the bottom (make sure to never switch up the positions though!!) and simplify:
[tex] \frac{17+10}{8+7} = \frac{27}{15} = \frac{9}{5} [/tex]
The answer is m=9/5
