Respuesta :
It will be a polymer
A polymer is a macromolecule which is obtained by repetitive combination of small molecules known as monomers.
When these monomers are combined in repetitive manner they form a long chain of small monomers or a very long molecule
Now in case of polymer also there is formation of bond between monomers which is possible only if they combine in a definite or special order.
Now here the answer can be very specific like
a) bio polymer : example : DNA , RNA , Protein, starch, cellulose
b) synthetic polymer: polyethylene, PVC
A long molecules that are arranged in special order is polymer.
- A polymer can be regarded as a substance or material which been composed of very large molecules, these large molecules is referred to as macromolecules.
- The macromolecules are the composition of many repeating subunits.
- Polymers can exist as natural and it can exist as synthetic
- Synthetic polymers can be regarded as one that is been formed through the polymerization of many small molecules
- These smaller molecules are been regarded as monomers.
- Some examples of synthetic polymers are; polyethylene, epoxy and polyester.
- Examples of Natural polymers are ;silk, wool as well as DNA and cellulose.
Therefore, polymers are composed of many monomers.
