If you were to come up with letters to represent those traits, (I used T for tall and t for short. Heterozygous mean that you'd have Tt, and short would have to be tt, since if you used a dominant allele, it would result in a tall trait. So Tt x tt on a punnet square would give you two of each, meaning the genotypic ratio is 2:2
Parents: Tt × tt
Possible genotypes: Tt, Tt, tt, tt.
So that's 2:2 since the plants have a 50% chance of being tall or short.
