"representation is vital, otherwise the butterfly surrounded by a group of moths, unable to see itself, will keep trying to become the moth." What does this quote mean? I'm suppose to write more than one paragraph about this quote, any ideas?

Respuesta :

I think this quote is trying to say you need to be yourself and not follow the crowd. There are so many people who act the same because that’s what’s "expected" in society. If you continue with the flow and don’t go against it, you will end up being like all the rest without even realizing it. Hope that helped

What are the meaning of the sun and her flowers?

Kaur explains that was such a beautiful representation of love and relationships: the sun could represent a woman and the flowers could be the relationships that she has throughout life.

What technique does Rupi Kaur use?

One of the techniques Kaur uses to evoke an emotional response from her readers is the use of a second-person point of view. While she uses first and third-person points of view too, the second-person poems pull the reader in, transforming them into the body experiencing the sensations and emotions Kaur focuses on.
