I love my best friend because he/she possesses the qualities I look for in a friend. These qualities include loyalty, reliability, honesty, kindness, generosity, having a sense of humour (Doesn't take sarcasm or jokes too seriously) and more. He/she also shares the same interests as me, and that is very important to me because it helps my friendships become stronger and last longer. We get along well together because I possess most of the qualities he/she looks in me! Which is why it is very important that we respect each other's opinions.

Imo, you should write about your own best friend or friendship. This is from my perspective but if it works for you then go for it! :)
Also, in my case, my friend is female.

Why do you love your best friend?

I love my best friends for many reasons. I could go on for a long time, but i'll shorten it down into a few points. First of all, she's the sweetest person ever, always putting others before herself. That's a  quality i really like. She's always helping others out and doing her best to keep everyone happy. I wish everyone was as awesome and nice as her.

Secondly, she's loyal. It's one of the best things about her. She's a true friends and sticks by your side through everything. She's with you through your best times and worst times. There's not a single time i felt she has betrayed me or hurt my feelings, because to be honest she truly keeps me happy.

Thirdly, she's honest and reliable. She will tell the truth and that's what makes her so much more amazing. You can rely on her to keep any secret and she will. I trust her so much, and she has built that trust with her personality.

(You can change the she's to he's if you want, this is just my point of view)
