God’s provision as the Lamb slain for our sins shows His 2) Mercy. Human beings had been created in the image of God and had bounty of wealth but they were forbidden one thing which was represented by an apple. The apple represented humans’ pride and desire to know things that were only in God’s realm. As a consequence, human suffering started because our ego would hinder our contact with God. We started to sin. Resent, want what others had, kill…etc. Then out of mercy, He sent Jesus, His beloved Son, to reconciled humans with Him.
