If you want to be able to supervise people than you should be a manager.
I believe the answer is: It would be more useful for office managers than for warehouse managers.
Warehouse managers only deals with inventories, so it requires less social interraction compared to other positons. Office mangers on the other hand, deals with people on day to day basis. Their main duty is to ensure that all employees fulfill their job descriptions.
